We have implemented e-scratch for the first time in Poland for Makro Cash&Carry. The action was addressed to the users of the mobile application. Every purchase for a min. PLN 10 made by application users during the promotional period was rewarded with a virtual scratch card, which was automatically assigned to his account. To find out about the victory, the participant scratched the field on his smartphone screen - the action was analogous to paper scratches. Coca-Cola cans, iPad mini 4, iPhone 8, trip vouchers and Macro vouchers were all available to win under the scratch cards. In total, there were over 25 000 prizes in the pool! In addition, each scratch card was a lottery ticket for the Opel Crossland X car. The action was very popular and therefore the mechanism was applied again in the next birthday lottery of Makro.  The lottery was supported by communication in the halls in the form of POS materials (posters, leaflets, banners) as well as on-line: a banner campaign on the macro.pl website and in Makro's mobile application.
